Zverev Ends Tennis’ Longest Wait

“Victory Belongs To The Most Tenacious.” If there was ever a player who proved that this year, it was Alexander Zverev.

Three Grand Slam finals had come and gone without a trophy. There were heartbreaks, questions, and plenty of moments when it would have been easy to stop believing. But Zverev kept showing up. And when he returned to Paris this year, he finally seized the moment that had eluded him for so long.

With the Musketeers' Trophy in his hands, Zverev not only became a Grand Slam champion for the first time but also completed a journey defined by resilience and persistence. After years of knocking on the door, he finally kicked it down.

Congratulations, Sascha, on your maiden Grand Slam title and a moment you'll remember forever.

The World No. 3 finally lifts his maiden Grand Slam title.

As the World No. 3 dropped to the ground in tears after sealing the win, Flavio Cobolli walked over from the other side of the net, consoled him, and shared a warm hug along with heartfelt congratulations.
A simple, classy moment of sportsmanship from Cobolli, and a really strong run from him as well. What a tournament he’s had.

With his French Open win, the World No. 3 joined an elite group of players who captured their first major titles in their fourth career final, alongside Andre Agassi, Goran Ivanisevic, and Dominic Thiem.

Au Revoir, Roland Garros. What a Tournament!
