As the Dubai Tennis Championships came to a close, Daniil Medvedev lifted the title with a relatively comfortable win. But the story didn’t end there. After the tournament, Medvedev along with several other players scheduled to depart, was left stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing conflict and the temporary closure of regional airspace.
