Stan Wawrinka began his professional career in 2002 at the age of 17. He won the Junior French Open in 2003 before winning his first match on the Main Tour the same year against Hugo Armando in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Stan Wawrinka won his first ATP tournament in Umag in 2006.
