Jannik Sinner got his Miami Open campaign up and running with a solid 6–3, 6–3 win over Damir Džumhur at Hard Rock Stadium. But the scoreline doesn’t tell the full story. There was plenty going on in the background, with a heckler repeatedly chirping from the stands and throwing things off, especially for Džumhur. In the end though, Sinner kept his cool and let his actions at the net do the talking.

Jannik Sinner continued his pursuit of the “Sunshine Double” by winning his opening match over Damir Dzumhur 6-3, 6-3. The Italian needed only 71 minutes to dispatch Dzumhur in the Round of 64.
