Sabalenka Narrowly Avoids DQ But Still Loses to Pegula at Wuhan |

Who Do You Think Will Win in Wuhan Tomorrow? |

After an intense battle, Novak falls to Valentin Vacherot, bringing his Shanghai journey to an early end. The Serb fought hard, and as you see below, left everything on the court, fighting until he was literally on his knees! Rest easy, Djokovic. Until next time.

Valentin Vacherot’s world ranking (204) was not high enough to guarantee a spot in Shanghai qualifying. Yet, he took a chance and traveled to China. Luck was on his side. Enough players dropped out before the deadline to allow Vacherot to enter qualifying as an alternate. Tomorrow he’ll face his cousin Arthur Rinderknech in the final. Oh, what a journey it’s been! |
