On April 1, 2007, Novak Djokovic, aged 19 years and 314 days, defeated Guillermo Canas in the Miami Open final (6-3, 6-2, 6-4) to become the youngest male player ever to win the tournament at the time. This was also the Serb’s first-ever ATP Masters 1000 title.
