19-year-old Victoria Mboko defeated Madison Keys in the Adelaide International quarterfinals, marking a crucial win before the Australian Open. The match concluded with Mboko triumphing 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 against the defending champion.

At just 18 years old, Victoria Mboko won her first-ever WTA title in Montreal as a wildcard. She beat four Grand Slam champs on the way, including Naomi Osaka in a thriller. Victoria is now the second-youngest player ever to take down four Grand Slam champs in one event. Only Serena Williams beat her to it (at age 17 in ’99).
